A very rare pair of facchino ice cream cone advertising figure. One being a boy and the other a girl in swim wear holding an oversized ritz ice cream cone with the most fabulous details casted into the plaster. Not many survivors of matching pairs survived so really quite exceptional. They are cast from plaster and decorated by hand. With the advertising raised into the plaster on the base. With the boy one saying “oh boy” and the girls saying “it’s lovely” a very hard pair of figures to come by in today’s market. Look amazing on a shelf.
condition
the figures themselves have been meticulously repainted using a colour scheme from how they would of originally been. The boy (the rarer figure) has had no structural repairs all as he should be. The girl has also been repaired but also a plaster repair to her face as can be seen from the back. But both very good sturdy figures and lovely to see an original pair together
