Absolutely exceptional exampl of a shop window advertising figure for hovis bakery. This specific one from a bakery in Nottingham. This is the secound example of this exceptional figure I have been lucky enough to own. Was the beautiful papier mache head with out of this world detail. Along with the body with exceptional detail even down to the hands under the tray. Such a stunning item. With the counter weight mechanism so his head moves in the window a beautiful figure.
condition
flaking to the face as can seen. Along with the hat having a bit of white paint dabbed on the flaking. Original mechanics inside the head. The new plate for the head to sit on has been engineered from an original.
