Early Huntley and palmers Toby jug figural biscuit tin

A rather superb figural biscuit tin from the biscuit manufacturing giants Huntley and palmers of reading. In the shape of a Toby jug. Produced in 1911 to 1913 makes it a rather early biscuit tin. Produced by hudsons and Scott using offset litho printing. Embossing done very cleverly. With handle and the lid that resembles the hat.
condition

the litho has some wear marks and scratching in places but in rather good condition. Unfortunately the hinge has broken on the lid so the lid disconnects from the tin entirely. But a lovely tin
