Rare 1870s huntley and palmers courts biscuit tin

this is a very hard to find brother to the ben george biscuit tin by huntley and palmers. this example was manufactured 2 years later in 1870 and became known as the courts tin. The royal design was attributed to owen jones. manufactered by  huntley & boorne in reading and became known as the second earlist printed biscuit tin such a special tin. offset lithograph printing

good condition with some wear marks to the lid all sides are in lovely condition a very scarce tin
