Scarce example of the more sought after Lyons tea fingerplate with the fancier typeface. In their renown beautiful cobolt blue and orange. I've always thought this sign is such a good example of how something as simple as a worded sign can still be so attractive. Would of originally been on the door of a grocers. Perfect sign for a kitchen door. Fingerplate are very hard to come by nowadays so it's a nice example to have
condition
a repair to the top screw hole of around the size of a 10p coin as can be seen on the images. Along with the smallest piece of repair to the bottom. I think the sign would benefit having this repair stript off and back to the orignal state but I have left that for the buyer to decide. Otherwise very glossy and great colours
