A superb example of a Cadburys cocoa reverse painted glass advertising sign. A beautiful example with the superb pictorial to the centre of the early cocoa essence tin with the 2 packets either side. With the scrip absolutely pure therefore the best. Dating from around 1920 would have originally been skilfully manufactured by Cadburys own advertising team hence the Cadburys bros Ltd to the bottom right. A superb survivor, the metallic silver used on the Cadburys cocoa engraved and then reverse painted. A very rare piece of glass these are only thin so not many survived.
condition
the glass sign has had some flaking to the top red boarder as can be seen in the pictures, the sign has been reframed as well to help protect it, no repairs and no breaks a beautiful rare Cadburys item
