this stunning late 19th century glass sign plastered in gold leaf really is a eye full. advertising stenography and remington typewriters. Depicting a lovely early image of one of remmington typewriters unfortunalty the wording around the image has faded quite bad so cannot make out what it would have said. very heavy bevelled glass it really is a stunning early sign.

The sign itself has not made it through life without damage unfortunatly. 3 of the four corners have had a chip which is a shame but i dont think it detracts from it to much as its such an early bit of advertising. the gold leaf has sufferd some losses in places but not too bad. a lovely rare bit of advertising
