this weeks new stock video is in 3 parts because of the size of it. containing some superb advertising items including, two fine examples of enamel advertising, one including a victorian mcdougalls self raising flour with a superb image of a freshly baked pie to the centre with a beautiful gloss and no restorations. The other being a classic chivers carppet soap with the before and after imagery and the beautiful early maid with the carpet soap ball to hand another with no restoration. I also have listed an exquisite array of showcards dating from the edwardian period up to the 1930s. The beautiful image of the hignetts skater edwardian woman really is a sample of art in itself with a beautiful insite into the 1900 fashion such a beautiful advert. The other hignetts advertising showcard featuring the most beautiful laying woman represents just how beautiful early 20th century printing can get with the most extraordainary colours and imagery. The other stunning showcard is the scott tyres with the beautiful image of a early dressed lady confronted by some police officers with some superb diaglog adding to the advertising aspect. Along with the advertising we have some beautiful tins on offer including one of the rarer cigarette tins being the king rufus by salmon and gluckstein also being partly live with the paper insert, such a rare find.
