Red bell tobacco shop counter bell

Smashing little tobacconist counter bell for red bell tobacco. Would have been fixed to the counter for a customer to ring to get the shop keepers attention. The heavily engraved base reads 'smoke and enjoy red bell tobacco. stunning in colour would make a great addition to any collection. i would date the bell around 1920/1930. There is also another version that reads blue bell tobacco.

this is one of the most original bells ive ever owned, even having its original mounts which are usually broken. small bits of pitting on the bell dome but adds to the age. when pressing the pusher it rings nicely so all in working condtion
