A superb example of a very rare T.pease.son & co darlington scotch whiskey ceramic bell. Marked up BOS which stands for blended old scotch also reading supplied to the house of lords. This helps date the bell as in 1908 the refreshment department placed an order with T pease to have the scotch supplied in the house, i would estimate the date to be about 1910. beautiful bell with great colours and rings perfectly. great addition to any collection.
the bell is a very rare survivor and has done very well for its age.1 chip on the bottom corner what dosent detract from the bell. wear related marks over the bell but all in all rather good. the knob turns and rings great. Lettering is in rather good condition as well a real gem.
