Stunning example, cherry blossom enamel advertising shoe box

Superb example of the green version of the cherry blossom shoe box. Many different companies made these enamel advertising shoeboxes, including cherry blossom who also manufactured a blue example. The purpose of the box was so that when the street shoe polishers polished upper class people's shoes the brand would be well advertised. Round 3 of the sides are bright enamel advertising signs fixed to the box. With a drop down door to the rear where brushes polished ect would have been kept to do the job. The show stand on the top is in nice original condition. A great display item.

the box is in lovely original condition with some minnor chipping to the enamels round the side but nothing to major. The door is intact which can be quite tricky to find with these boxes. Wordwork is in nice original condition with no worm
