a very scarce example of a 1920s rowntrees Christmas selection box. featuring a beautiful snowy scene to the lid with Father Christmas on a reindeer sleigh giving the period dressed children a box of chocolates. Not an example I have seen before from rowntrees they usually depict carol singing ect. a lovely seasonal box
condition.
the box is not in the best shape with celotape repairs in various places. could do with being professionally repaired. the lid image is still rather good with strong colours
