One of my favourite things added this week. Such a fabulous advertising travel poster for the famous union castle line, with art work of the poster done by the fabulous maritime artist Maurice Randall. Such a fabulous image with the sailors looking in from the deck of the sailing ship to see the balmoral castle union line shipping advertising towering over the seas. With the caption alls well. One of the best shipping poster produced in my opinion. Has been mounted to a hardboard backing to display.
condition
the poster has suffered some losses and damages to the border as can be seen and some scuffs and wear to the main image. The paste has been mounted onto hardboard which also has some damage to the board mainly the corners. But lovely to see an original example of this huge shipping poster. A proper statement piece of advertising
