Lovely example of a tin advertising butcher shop spike sign for the product of spears Wiltshire bacon. These would have originally been stabbed into the meat in the butchers shop to advertise to customers of whom the product was produced by. Lovely craftsmanship for such a small job. Beautiful item with the original spike. This is one of 2 identical examples I have listed this evening,
condition
some slight wear and scratches but colours and condition is good. Perfect for a kitchen display.
