Unusual counter top tinplate fryers special smoking mixture advertising sign

A beautiful tinplate stand up advertising tin sign for c. Fryer & sons, the company started business in the late Victorian era in London. The factory was in clerkenwell, this was a common place for a tobacco factory then. They were originally known for their pipe smoking mixtures. The company was later handed down to the son which then liquidated the company in the 2nd world war. The tin sign features their well know mixture tin along with a pictorial of a bust smoking a pipe. A lovely little tin sign printed by the metal box company. With the stand to reverse.
