This is a truely stunning tin circa 1910, makes this a very scarce example of vivtory v tin. brilliant image to the front depicting a gent wrapped up in a train in winter, with the slogan for cold journeys. This tin was grace any collection. this being the red example of the 2 as they also do one with a blue surround on the lid. a very period looking tin. just as you think the image on the front is stunning you then open the tin to show the famous image of the nurse. A stunning tin.
condition.
The main picture on the top of the lid and the inner are both in rather good condition with the odd bit of litho loss and scratches. the edges of the tin are in rather poor condition as shown in the images provided. The tin will display very well in the cabinet and not very often an example comes up for sale.
