Was very pleased to buy this exceptional advertising showcard for players weights cigarettes, for my personal collection. By the prolific cartoon artist Tom Browne, commonly known for the illustrations on popular Edwardian enamel sign fry's boy in the window.
This example is much smaller than the other example of this card, also originally coming from the players archives. One of two cards this size the other being one I sold a good friend of mine a few years ago. All stamped with the Archive label to the reverse. The itc number dating the card to 1910. What a beautiful colour image.
